Since you last heard from us, things have happened. :)
Glenn has continued doing ‘urban sketching’ with a local group, but has also begun some longer-term projects for friends. The above drawing of a local house went to some old friends Joyce and Steve (from our motorcycle-riding days). He did another for a Columbian friend here in Mexico. He has also begun drawing some significant family history buildings. Bryn is continuing Spanish lessons with a conversation class with the same Colombian friend we met in Zacatecas.
Some other old friends Tim and Linda returned from Kentucky for a visit and we had a nice reunion with our former Spanish teacher, Lourdes.
Glenn got a new keyboard and has been working with a local performer Thomas Banks to record some new material.
In August we made a quick trip back to Texas to celebrate Glenn’s Mom and Dad’s 65th Anniversary! It was very nice to see them and his brother Philip and his favorite sister-in-law, Shelley.
Checked out the annual Globos festival - lots of crazy paper balloons were sent up!
We celebrated Bryn’s 65th(!) birthday with some old friends Rich and Shannon - new vegitarian/vegan restaurant nearby.
It’s been 10 years since we experienced our first earthquake, which happened just north of here. Now we have experienced two! This one lasted almost 90 seconds. Lots of ‘gentle’ rolling. It’s just not natural to have the ground itself betray you like that! Epicenter was a little over 100 miles away down at the coast.

We also celebrated our Anniversary - 32nd! Had some nice pizza and wine at a nearby restaurant, Adelita’s.
We walk four miles most mornings and/or Zumba class (Bryn) and continue to enjoy the mobility of our power-assisted bicycles to get around town while dodging the traffic jams the cars “enjoy.”
Last week our friends Eddie and Greg took a well-deserved vacation in Puerto Vallarta so we took care of their animals while they were gone. Is ‘pigsitting’ an official category?
Yesterday we *finally* got back on the Pickleball court at Mel’s Casa Social and also walked almost 12 miles for the day. Today is recovery day.
Hope you are all doing well! We’ll talk to you soon.
