High School Daze and Birthdaze
After a brief recovery from the European trip, Glenn flew back to the old D F Dub (DFW) for a high school alumni event and his Mom’s 88th birthday. His daughter Anna and her husband were able to attend which made it extra special. Good quality family time was had.
Artistes
Back in April we attended the play ‘33 Variations’ at the Lakeside Little Theater. A friend was in it, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. And, for some reason, I thought it would be a good idea to explore volunteering for the theater.
As it stands now, I have ended up becoming the webmaster and Bryn is busy rehearsing for her various roles dancing in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ which will run from late January through early February next year.
Bryn likes dancing so much she not only performed in the annual Thriller dance again but she also joined up with a bunch of witches.
We have also both begun expanding our artistic sides by dabbling in art (as one does when one retires)
Miscellaneity
It was recently determined that our original ebikes from 18 months ago, while functional, were not ideal. So we traded them in for some new ones we can step through and that have twice the battery power and range.
In Paris Glenn bought a hat to protect his head without looking like a retired fisherman. He now has several - it’s a bit out of control, frankly…
Vows
Valentina, a friend from Zacatecas (and Bryn’s Spanish teacher), recently got married and we were able to provide a place for makeup and clothes changing and recommendations for nearby venues for lunch and dancing. It was a fun Saturday!
WHAT IS NEXT FOR VAGABONDIANS?
We want to share more with you. More photos, more videos, and more frequently! Glenn has some ideas he is about to implement along those lines. More soon!
